Applications that survive their second year.

Anyone can ship version one. We build systems a different team can still extend, secure and operate three years later — because most of what we are asked to fix is somebody else's version one.

Software Development

What we build

Architects, developers, administrators and security specialists on one team — so the security review happens at design, not two weeks before launch.

Enterprise applications

Line-of-business systems, workflow platforms and internal tools that replace the spreadsheet estate quietly holding your operation together.

Web & mobile

Customer-facing and field applications, built responsive, accessible and instrumented from day one rather than retrofitted after the first complaint.

Modernisation

Legacy migration, re-platforming and incremental strangler-pattern rewrites for systems too critical to switch off and too costly to keep as they are.

Integration

APIs and data flows between systems that were never designed to talk to each other. Usually the actual bottleneck, and usually underestimated.

What you get

Code you are not trapped inside

Every engagement ends with your team able to operate what we built. Documentation, runbooks and training are deliverables, not afterthoughts.

  • Readable architecture with the decisions and their reasons written down.
  • Automated tests and CI so a change can be made confidently by someone who wasn't there.
  • Security review at design, by the people who will also run it.
  • Instrumentation from day one — logging, metrics and error tracking, not added after an incident.
  • Full IP ownership: code, infrastructure definitions and documentation are yours.

Architecture & code review

A structured review of an existing system: risk, maintainability, security and a prioritised remediation plan. Useful before you commit budget to a rewrite you may not need.

Questions we get asked

Straight answers

Can you work alongside our in-house team?

Yes, and it is usually the better arrangement. We embed, follow your standards where they exist, and help establish them where they don't.

Do you do fixed-price work?

For well-defined scopes, yes. For genuine discovery work, a fixed-price assessment first and then a scoped project is more honest than pretending an unknown is a known.

What happens at the end?

Handover: documentation, runbooks, and a working session with the team who will own it. You should be able to stop working with us and keep operating.

Next step

Let's look at what you're running.

A thirty-minute call with an engineer to work out whether there is something worth doing here.
